I remember. I remember it all. I remember the Styrofoam cup placed over my snout. I remember being trapped in a laundry basket or in a cardboard box, or in whatever else was convenient for spoiled juvenile children and their willing parents.
FREEDOM. The escape. I was written up by the Glen Ellyn Fuzz. Roaming at Large-very dangerous threat to the non-community. For one day, anyway I was freed from my tormentors.
I should be grateful. I had a corner of the kitchen. I took a chunk out of my master's arm-and I enjoyed it. The cats-I didn't mind them. But I ate their food-often, that too an act of defiance.
When I became ill you all laughed. It's leptospirosis, and it's caused by "piss popsicles" in the winter time with one filthy animal infected by another one. I'm a Cocker Spaniel/Golden Retriever combo, not a rat, like you are.
Before I died I spread the word. This evil land will pay. I despise and hate all of you. And WE WILL RETURN.
Next time you see a mutt take a chunk out of someone, you'll know. It's only the beginning. It's happening all around you.
