Dave the Crab

Once upon a time, there was a very lonely crab named Dave. Dave the crab wandered around all day not knowing what to do because he had no friends. That all changed one day when Dave found himself on Rainbow Beach. The crab had never been to Rainbow Beach before and was excited to check it out. To his dismay, the beach was abandoned. He didn't understand. He'd heard all of the stories about what an exciting place Rainbow Beach was, yet nobody was there. Suddenly, he heard a noise. He turned around quickly, and to his surprise he saw another crab. The crab introduced himself and said his name was Bob. Bob the crab had lived at Rainbow Beach for many, many years. He explained to Dave how Rainbow Beach used to be crowded and so much fun, that is until Starry Beach opened up down the road. All of the people that used to come to Rainbow Beach went down to this new beach, and Rainbow Beach was left abandoned. Dave didn't care though, he was just happy to have finally found a friend in the world. They laughed and exchanged stories until Bob invited Dave to play a game of Frisbee with him. Dave had never played games with anyone else before and jumped at the opportunity. Before playing, Dave made sure to put on lots of sunscreen. He knew that crab sunburns could be the worst! They tossed the Frisbee back and forth for hours. Dave had more fun that day than he had ever had before. When they were done playing, he thanked Bob for being such a great friend and spending the day with him. Bob told him that he was welcome back to Rainbow Beach anytime he liked. As Dave left, he turned around at Bob and smiled. He knew he would be coming back to Rainbow Beach very, very soon.
