Discovering who you are.

Lauras family always knew she would turn out different. Her family were vampires, however she was not yet one of them. Approaching her seventeen birthday she would be a changed person, a vampire, she anticipated the day when her teeth would enlarge, when she developed a thirst for blood and when she had amazing strength and speed. People would envy her. People would want to be her friend when they saw how strong, speedy and good looking she would soon become. Taking a deep breath she entered the room where she would be turned. Her mother sat, her long shiny black hair falling in rings around her, she smiled and said "Hello Laura honey, take a seat". Suddenly Laura saw her mothers glistening white fangs and before she could do anything her mother bit deep into the vein in her neck. Her head spun with shock and pain, then it was over. Her eyes glittered blue and green. Her skin complexion paled and she was completely transformed. She saw her mother looking at her proudly. Lauras tongue drolled for a thirst for blood, her mother reached her a glass of blood. Hungrily Laura slurped it down. Laura looked at her mother "Thank you mother".
