How many times per day do you check your phone? 10, 20, or 50?
Look:
It's been 8 years and 12 phone models since the first time we saw iPhone in 2007 . Now people crave to renew their phones every time the new model appears. Obviously, every new phone has its benefits, and phones have become an important part of our routine lives.
While it is nearly impossible to imagine our lives without smartphones, it's important to know how to get the most out of it. Today we are going to reveal ways how to use your iPhone to write a masterpiece.
Notes
Is it possible to predict when your muse will come? I bet it isn't. So, you need to have a place where to write your brilliant idea. Take your phone, and start using 'notes'. If you have the latest version of IOS, it's even better: highlight important ideas, draw something, or send a copy to your iCloud. It is so easy! Don't let your muse disappear!
Voice memos
If you don't have much time to write down a lot, record your voice message. Plus, if you need to interview somebody, this tool might be also helpful. Just be sure it is on. We live in the digital era, after all!
Camera
When you think about a camera in iPhone, you usually think about selfies. However, this camera is much more than 'look-what-i-eat' and 'this-is-me-pretty' photos. You can record ideas and insights using your gadget. Next time you see something interesting, stop and take a picture. Maybe, it is your next idea for a masterpiece.
Reminders
Being a creative person is hard. You might forget about everything! Thus, you should use 'reminders'. Write down tasks, set personal deadlines, and be ready to work hard on your masterpiece. As for me, so it is an efficient way to come back to writing process.
Siri
When you have a good idea, get the most out of it! In short, you shouldn't waste your time on additional tasks. Call Siri to help you find something on the Internet or call your publisher. It is a fast way to manage your task. Rely on this lady, Tim Cook will be happy to hear this option is useful.
iBooks
Once Vera Nazarian said, “Whenever you read a good book, somewhere in the world a door opens to allow in more light."
Why not draw inspiration from best practices? Now it is so easy! Find something you like and add it to your personal bookshelf. Plus, you can save time and download audiobooks to listen to them. Great tool for writers!
Social networks apps
Every person has an account in social networks: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, or Pinterest. It is a great promotional tool that can be used for your masterpiece. As soon as your text is done, don't hesitate to post a teaser. Attract readers, cause a buzz, and get a feedback!
As you can see, being a modern writer means to have digital advantages. If you still hesitating if your phone can help you create a masterpiece, take a try.
Use the above prompts or article as inspiration to write a story or other short piece.
