Life in Wild America- Venus Parfait

I often daydream about being somewhere else away from the hustle and bustle of the large city and its surrounding cities. To be isolated with my boyfriend and maybe a few close friends on a tropical island even for a month seems appealing. Would we be on a resort or would we need to hunt for shelter, food etc. Hmmm.

Than my mind jumps like a gitty school girl jumping rope the first time to the idea of being on a mountain with streams of frigid yet clear blue water and wild flowers surrounding the fields and my feet. The air is amazingly clear and I notice my lungs don't struggle to gather life's air. I could be here forever that is until I see a wolf and a bear staring at me from the otherside of the creek wondering why I have invaded and began to poison there clean world.

So would a desert be better than poisoning what my mind deems as pure? Gritty hot sand between my toes the sun beating down on the top of my head and struggling to find shelter to help relieve my panting. Now where did I put my water?

As with any thought it comes and goes but my mind couldn't stop thinking of the mountains but this time maybe get the best of the wild but not be in the direct mountains. Yep you got it! Alaska!! I think of sitting by the shore fishing, enjoying the culture, and taking a small cruise ship to see the interior of this largely uninhabited state. Wow clean air, adventure, seeing the hard work needed to stay for winter verses just the fun in the cool yet warm sun. I'm amazed beyond words and ready to pack my stuff for real now.
