(Cypress, California)
Growing up in a California home, surrounded by constant sunlight and never ending good weather. My family and I have always been able to grow plants, flowers, and trees without worrying about hail or snow. When thinking about planting a garden without questioning the cost. I would grow a little bit of everything. Red juicy apples to share with the neighbors. Pears and oranges to share with family. And perfectly shaped grapes to share with the co-workers at work. You see, its not about what kind of food you can grow. It's about who you can share that food with. What's the point of having a garden, when you keep it sheltered from the world? The beauty that some are especially blessed to have, should be shared with the less fortunate.
